The Sr. Network Architect & CCIE for our client’s enterprise development studios will be responsible for leading the client into the future of Networking and will be the primary leader in the global architecture of leading networking technologies and solutions.
As a key member of the GDIS Technical Architecture team you’ll work with a great team of Technical Architect’s and Engineering thought leaders in Enterprise Data Center design, Wide Area Network connectivity, Campus design, Wireless  and Security solutions which support our business. You’ll provide network strategy, direction and innovation for one of the greatest entertainment companies

What a Sr. Enterprise Network Architect & Infrastructure Services is responsible for:

  • Providing network architecture and design services that define client’s platforms.
  • Define network technology strategies, best practices, guidelines and standards based on emerging technologies and client IT’s strategic direction
  • Develop a high performing, highly available distributed mesh network infrastructure which is able to meet application roadmaps capable of adapting to security requirements.
  • Lead a unified approach, vision, strategy and roadmap for Network Services
  • Partner with client IT Service lines to support Service Delivery through technical architectural and engineering consulting;  support IT Service Delivery teams who drive solution delivery with architectural guidance
  • Optimizing and evolving the current network for performance, resiliency and availability
  • Mentor other engineers in best practices for network architecture, design and engineering
  • Reviews the design and implementation of architecture components and map them to the long term vision
  • Develop and maintain relationships with IT Service Lines Leaders and Development Studio partners & Stakeholders to ensure their infrastructure expectations are being met and priorities are set at the appropriate levelsI

Skills the next great Network Architect also needs:

  • Proven ability to deliver architectures that incorporate high availability, operations supportability and scalability – Technology life cycle perspective
  • Knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the areas of SDN / Cisco ACI
  • Ability to conduct complex systems analysis and translate user requirements into business solutions
  • Producing a blueprint for a complex, large-scale, integrated network for clients
  • Expert-level background working with Cisco and Juniper switches and routers, monitoring solutions, load balancers, packet shapers, wireless solutions, system and operational management solutions
  • Advanced understanding of business process implications underlying critical systems and networks
  • Deliver detailed network assessments, design, cost analysis, implementation strategies, timelines and configuration guidance to project teams
  • Ability to conduct technical training to engineering and support teams
  • In-depth knowledge of security best practices in large-scale environments
  • Understanding of how network technology and infrastructure can help the business achieve efficiencies
  • Demonstrated experience in business and product planning processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Experience working with Cisco technologies and Data Center Networks Design, Set up and/or operations
  • Understanding of advanced networking technologies and solutions including IPV6, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, OSPF, multicast, policy-based routing, ether-channel, QoS, traffic-shaping, load balancing, VPN tunnels, WAN Optimization
  • Evaluation, testing and implementation of network technologies that enhance performance, security, functionality, monitoring and manageability of the corporate network and its resources

Key Knowledge:

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical discipline is preferred
  • CCIE, CISSP
  • Nice to Have ITIL v3 Foundation
